At the heart of the system are compact SanDisk Professional PRO-BLADE SSD Mags, which can be found in a range of capacities – all with 3m drop and 4000lb crush resistance for on-the-go reliability.
Loading a PRO-BLADE SSD Mag into the portable PRO-BLADE TRANSPORT enclosure makes for a powerful, portable external drive. The enclosure has a USB-C 20Gbps connection for up to 2000MB/s read and write speeds.
Back in the studio, this unit can be plugged directly into a computer for instant editing. The PRO-BLADE TRANSPORT enclosure features a cooling aluminium heat sink to sustain transfer speeds through demanding workflows.
Alternatively, up to four of the SSD Mags can be slotted into the larger PRO-BLADE STATION desktop SSD enclosure for even faster ingest and data transfer. This desktop enclosure has a Thunderbolt 3 interface rated to 40Gbps. So up to four high-capacity PRO-BLADE SSD Mags can simultaneously offload or be used for real-time editing in up to 12K.
