RØDE’s latest big news comes in the form of a professional USB microphone, the NT-USB+, adding to its ever-expanding industry-leading range.
Based on the legendary first gen NT-USB which was first released in 2014, the + is loaded with new features. With the same iconic form factor and studio-level sound, it is the perfect companion for creatives. Not to mention, it is compact, versatile and portable.
Professional Audio
Set to become a modern classic, it delivers a warm and clear tone with full frequency response thanks to the studio-grade condenser capsule, much akin to the sound of a classic large-diaphragm condenser microphone. A tight cardioid polar pattern gives focused audio, excelling in everything from vocals to acoustic guitar. RØDE ensured enhanced circuitry by employing its own ultra-low noise, high-gain Revolution Preamp™ technology – first seen in the RØDECaster Pro II – and upgraded high-res 24-bit/48kHz analogue-to-digital conversion for pristine quality.
A powerful internal DSP allows users to apply advanced APHEX processing to audio, including a high-pass filter (for cutting out that incessant low-end rumble), a noise gate (to eliminate background noise), a compressor (for punchy, balanced sound), and the acclaimed Aural Exciter™ and Big Bottom™ effects (for rich broadcast tone).
Usability
Usability is especially vital to creating content on the move. That’s why RØDE gave the NT-USB+ plug-and-play connectivity with computers, smartphones and tablets, covering Apple, Windows and Android.
