Meet the talented winners of the Pro Moviemaker Filmmaker of the Year Awards
The entries have flooded in, the judges have pored over the submissions and now it’s time to reveal the winners of the Pro Moviemaker Filmmaker of the Year 2024.
And what a stellar set of entrants we’ve had. These are the real heroes of commercial, indie filmmaking. While some entrants are experienced imaging professionals, others are young filmmakers making their first steps into the professional world. But one thing is consistent – all the winners truly shine.
Our overall victor can now be revealed as Jonny Lewis, a Briton who juggles his work as an editor for the USA’s biggest rugby TV channel with his commissioned work, where he makes films for a local art gallery with its own YouTube channel; his evocative films promote the wide range of international artists it represents. Already nominated for four Royal Television Society East Awards, Lewis was also the winner of one of our flagship awards, the commercial & corporate category.
We’d also like to take the opportunity to thank our sponsors for helping make the awards possible:
- Documentary – sponsored by Nikon
- Weddings – sponsored by MPB
- Lighting – sponsored by Godox
- Youtuber – sponsored by Amaran
- Future Filmmaker – sponsored by CVP
- Sound – sponsored by Sennheiser
